Curtis Energy Consulting provides consulting advisory services for petroleum engineering and high-performance contracting for drilling and completions.  

I am  a Petroleum Engineer and a subject matter expert in the pressure pumping disciplines, especially cementing and hydraulic fracturing.

My expertise also includes creating and managing high-performance drilling & completions contracts and supplier performance to reduce costs, minimize cycle time, and achieve perfect execution.

I have been consulting continuously for Chevron since 2013 until the present day, on a rotational basis, mostly for their Angola business unit (SASBU), and also for their West Texas business unit (MCBU) a few years ago.

I previously worked for Nowsco/ BJ Services/ Baker Hughes for 23 years, on four continents, in various engineering, business development and management positions, culminating as the Global Director of Offshore Cementing.

I am fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese. I have lived and worked on four continents. I am currently located in Alberta, Canada, and rotate back and forth to Luanda,  Angola. I am open to work assignments anywhere in the world.
